🛠️🔧 Building Skills and Creativity!
Our Chautauqua Lake High School BOCES STEM class has been busy bringing their skills to life with hands-on projects! Thanks to the generosity of Home Depot in Lakewood, NY, our students received donated kids` kits, along with hammers and screwdrivers, to build desktop basketball hoops and piggy banks.
Students didn`t just build, they also filled out project pages and reflections, sharpening their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Thank you, Home Depot, for supporting hands-on learning and inspiring our students to become makers and creators!

Last month, the E Building at our LoGuidice Educational Center came alive with curiosity, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement during the E2CCB Science Fair! Students from across the center showcased their scientific knowledge through hands-on experiments, interactive displays, and engaging presentations that impressed staff and visitors alike.
One of the highlights? Baby goats! 🐐 These furry friends were part of a display that combined science with agriculture, giving students a unique opportunity to explore animal care, biology, and environmental science up close. The fair was filled with fun and learning—from bubbling chemical reactions to experiments that explored energy, motion, and more.
A huge shoutout to our dedicated staff and enthusiastic students who made the day unforgettable. Events like these spark curiosity and show just how exciting science can be!

Four #E2CCB students placed at this year’s competition: Donivan Sampsel-Lindberg of Jamestown; Seth Vaughn of Southwestern; Kyle Siepierski of East Aurora; and Ryan Brundage of Iroquois.

Students at the Hewes Educational Center enjoyed a wild visit from Hawk Creek Wildlife Center. Based in Western New York, Hawk Creek provides educational programs that bring the natural world to life for students of all ages.
During their visit, two wildlife naturalists introduced students to a fascinating lineup of animals—including raptors, mammals, and snakes—while teaching about each species` natural habitat and behaviors. One of the highlights of the day was when a raptor soared directly over the students’ heads!
