Regional Test Scoring
The E2CCB Regional Test Scoring Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, provides districts with a streamlined solution for scoring Grades 3-8 English Language Arts and Math Assessments. This service includes coordination of regional scoring, covering the cost of operational test training, facilities for scoring days, and processing of test booklets.
Please note that this service does not include scoring of the multiple-choice sections, which is handled by WNYRIC, or pre-training for scoring, which is covered under Co-Ser 565.
The cost for the service includes a basic fee plus $7 per student test, offering an efficient, collaborative approach to test scoring that reduces the administrative burden on districts.
School Improvement
The School Improvement strand is designed to support teachers and school leaders in building capacity and ensuring all students’ academic achievement. IES staff will work collaboratively with districts to customize strategic staff development plans that address their targeted needs.
The professional development opportunities will be designed based on data and research.
The basic service will include five days of site-based and/or remote staff development with a focus on specific district requests and will be tailored to meet the individual objectives of the district. Districts may choose to allocate these days to address areas of need which include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, leadership support, comprehensive curriculum and assessment development, instructional strategies, instructional coaching, and mentor training.
All can be delivered in-house and/or remotely through small, regional collaboration efforts. For long-term work, please see the Shared Specialized Curriculum Services.
Regional workshops that address updates and changes in statewide initiatives are incorporated in the base cost, when provided by NYSED, for the purpose of turnkey training with component districts. These sessions may be held in-person, online, or in a blended environment with asynchronous videos or interactive library. In addition to NYSED information sharing, IES staff or consultants will provide professional development on a variety of topics such as using multiple measures to inform instruction and assessment decisions, instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, learning styles, reading and writing in the content areas, assessment to inform literacy instruction, and other areas based upon district needs assessment surveys.
Substitute & Stipend Reimbursement
The E2CCB Substitute and Stipend Reimbursement Co-Ser, part of Integrated Education Services, supports districts in covering costs for staff participation in professional development and curriculum activities.
Substitute Reimbursement (Co-Ser 565.260) allows districts to be reimbursed for substitute teacher costs when their regular staff attends E2CCB-sponsored curriculum development and training sessions. Upon submission of the required forms and adherence to SED policies, districts are eligible for reimbursement at the actual per diem cost of substitutes, up to $200 per day, with a 3% coordination fee.
Stipend Reimbursement (Co-Ser 565.270) enables districts to recover costs for stipends paid to teachers attending E2CCB-sponsored training and curriculum development activities. Districts are reimbursed up to $110 per day, plus a 3% coordination fee, once forms are completed and SED policies are followed.
Reimbursement requires that at least two districts participate in the professional development activity, which is verified through attendance sheets. Additionally, districts must be part of the School Improvement Co-Ser (Co-Ser 565) to qualify for these reimbursements.
